I hate I have to spell this out as I like my blog to be an open forum for ideas and yes, spirited debate as well. However, I want to make it clear to those who cross the line that I reserve the right to omit any comment that contains profanity, extreme rudeness and vitriol and also reserve the right to block anyone who violates those rules. However I want to make clear a solid guarantee that I will never censor an idea or an argument against my own views. Strident disagreement, while heated at times, is allowed and should be anywhere. If you feel I wrongly censored or omitted anything you write in a comment contact me via e-mail at aladyofreason@outlook.com and I’ll be more than willing to talk and work something out.

Often times, I will be flexible and may allow some insane comments through just to show just how loony some of my haters can be in their pure vitriol. After all, why censor what you can just show as evidence? Haters and trolls: Anything you say can and will be used against you πŸ˜‰

Lastly, I apologize to my open-minded dissenters for having to set this tone for our comment section. I know many of you while disagreeing with what I have to say, respond with articulate arguments and most importantly, civility and a professional demeanor. I will uphold your right to speak your opinions without censorship as that’s what we as conservatives ask of you as well so we must set the example.

To spell it out very clearly, if I censor or block you, or won’t address a question, it’s probably because:

You’re being vitriolic/extremely rude

You are making extensive personal attacks with no actual arguments

You used profanity

You’re repeating yourself in endless circles not adding to the conversation in addition to rude demands/a rude tone

You’re just trolling without wanting to add to a productive conversation

Speaking frankly or what you feel is a blunt truth will not get you blocked. There is a big difference between that and genuine rudeness.

  1. These are fair and appropriate LoR. πŸ™‚ I’ve had to do something similar too over on my blog. LOL Oh well, in a true, pure or pseudo-pure democracy (as the U.S. has sadly devolved to), we must put up with those extreme outliers, huh? πŸ˜‰ Personally, I think the “3-strikes and YOUR OUT” rule works well and it pretty damn fair! Don’t you agree Ma’am? πŸ˜‰
