The Consequences of Putting America Last…

Only two months ago I wrote about how we need to start standing up for our country and its interests instead of constantly tearing it down. How we need to start taking a harder stance against unfair and biased criticism of America, the deconstruction of American values in society and the family, the divisions pitting one group against another, telling us to feel ashamed of our country’s history, as well as being pushovers on the world stage. The problem with this America-bashing attitude is that these so called popular opinions aren’t solely confined to the classroom, or the ivory towers, or some magazine’s latest opinion piece, but have real tangible consequences.

Just look at the latest popular opinion is that we deserve to be pushed around by other countries due to something we did in the past that was wrong, or others didn’t agree with. For example, the open borders policy. Now, anyone can just come here and demand all the benefits of a social safety net without even becoming a US citizen! You’re not allowed to say illegal, which they are according to their immigration status, but “undocumented” instead conferring some legitimacy to their draining resources that our citizens need. Heaven forbid you express any concerns with not giving background checks potentially letting criminals through! If you complain, you’re a racist and xenophobe, and are told America deserves this influx of illegal immigrants due to its policies with Mexico and other Latin American countries. Another example going abroad is how we’re supposedly expected to contribute more to other countries’ needs. Instead of pulling their fair share, other nations are getting away with profiting off deals we make with them then getting the blame if we don’t contribute what was more than enough. By labeling us as colonialist oppressors, apparently it means anyone can do anything to us and we can’t complain! Standing up for our values? Oppression! Having a strong military? Oppression! Having national pride? Oppression! and so on…

A disturbing trend is some even believe that we deserved to suffer the 9/11 attacks! That due to our policies over in the Middle East thousands of Americans, innocent people, deserved to die! Furthermore, that we shouldn’t have taken any action to stop terrorism over there so it wouldn’t come back here. We treat those who hate our values and the West with kid gloves; always afraid to speak up in fear of offending them and being called racist, intolerant, or xenophobic. It’s no longer okay to “see something, say something” in fear of being labeled a bigot. When terror attacks happen, we can no longer teach who did it and why, instead we are told to emphasize how wrong it is to hold any communities accountable. In essence, it’s no different than the victim blaming the Left loves to condemn when it suits them! We “asked for it” when we’re attacked, it’s never the fault of the terrorists or the community who turns a blind eye and even is complicit in their deeds.

The consequences of this line of thinking? Just look at the most recent insanity over in Afghanistan! Under Biden’s watch, if you could call it that, Afghanistan has fallen back into the hands of the Taliban! The world now sees us as weak again. Pushovers more eager to self flagellate over a microaggression and be concerned with how many genders there are than advocating for our own interests on the world stage. Our enemies and competition can smell our lack of national self esteem literally an ocean and several continents away! Unlike Trump, who was diplomatic yet assertive

May be an image of ‎text that says '‎Taliban's new arsenal Equipment 22,174 Humvee 8,000 trucks 634 MI1I7 162,043 radios 155 MxxPro mine-proof vehicles 16,035 night vision goggles/devices 169 M113 armoured personnel carriers ه 358,530 assault rifles 42,000 pick-up trucks and SUVs 26.295 pistols 64,363 machine guns Source: US Government Accounting Office (GAO) 176 artillery pieces‎'‎

with nations like Russia, China, and even North Korea, and also spoke with the Taliban and signed a peace deal, Biden has caved into the Taliban’s every whim! He’s treating a terrorist group like they actually are the legitimate government over there instead of the petty stone age insurgents they are.

Most appalling of all, he abandoned AMERICANS in Afghanistan to the mercy of those tyrants! That’s right: US citizens who he should make his first duty as leader of this country to protect. If a nation can’t even fulfill its most basic duty, to protect its own people, how can it look itself in the mirror as a country? How can Biden for that matter? Plane after plane was filled up with Afghans fleeing to America, but no spots left for those with US passports! How are we so sure some aren’t Taliban members who want to take a firmer hold over here? In your communities! If you dare say anything about that, you’re told to shut up! To add to the horrors, the 13 who served and died in the bombing in Kabul never had to. It wasn’t just poor luck in an inherently hazardous job, the Pentagon knew about the attack beforehand yet did nothing to take out the bomber or evacuate. It gets better: the Taliban has been left with a whole arsenal of planes, helicopters, bombs, rockets, guns etc. of the finest quality since we left! I assume it won’t be collecting much dust… The Left’s excuse is that Biden was cleaning up Trump’s mess. Seriously? We heard nothing like this during Trump’s presidency, then in under a year of Biden being in office the Taliban has taken over and Americans are left at their mercy. How is this putting America first? More like utterly last!

By denying our country’s greatness, its values, and our rights to be the first to benefit from all its resources, this is the consequence. Terrorism gets free reign and Americans get literally left behind. Our enemies see us as weak pushovers. Our society which is encouraged to denounce traditional values and raise a generation of whining snowflakes who melt at microaggressions and bias incidents and emasculated young men has led to a weaker military less able to defend. Those 13 men and women stepped up and put their country first and did their duty until the end. They were braver than the so called leaders in the Pentagon and even our president. While young people their ages are in academia lapping up the Left’s propaganda wreaking the country, whining over microaggressions, those young men and women, just kids really, chose to be a defender and protector. It’s because of those like them our country can stay great. Because of their leaders’ incompetence, negligence and complacency they paid the ultimate price. The consequences in this case of putting America last aren’t just a tragedy, but an atrocity. When we stand up for America we also stand up for them. We can never bring them back, but we can make sure the country they gave their lives for is put first!

  1. Joe Biden’s Presidency is an absolute disaster. Everything he has done is destroying the United States at its very foundation. But this report could be the end of Joe Biden.
Even the Democrats in the “House” where his own party rules, say that, “Biden’s handling of Afghanistan is a ‘f—g disaster”

The thing that everybody needs to understand that even if you completely agree with the Biden administration’s decision to withdraw, the way they have handled this has been a total disaster.
Ever since being inaugurated, Joe Biden has been doing all he can to make sure America is being destroyed.. Whether it’s infecting the military with Critical Race Theory or negotiating with Terrorists, something that this country has never done before. , Biden is slowly turing America into his Socialist “Utopia.” Something that the Democrats didn’t count on, when they HAD HIM elected.
But one of his biggest blunders comes from the disaster at the Border.

While Donald Trump was President, he oversaw a massive enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws. Unfortunately, Joe Biden is so rabidly against Trump that he reversed course when he became president. The result has been an enormous border Crisis no matter what Biden and his VP Kamala chose to call it, where Tens of Thousands are held in cramped, and Corvid conditions.
Joe may not be make good President, or even a good person for that matter But he sure knows how to lick an Ice-Cream Cone.

.And Americans have had enough of Biden fumbling the ball. A new Harvard/Harris poll just came out that showed 80% of Americans believe illegal immigration is a serious issue that needs more attention from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
No it hasn’t been a good week for the Bisen administration at all. And to top it off, The Biden administration has seen a TON of criticism this week, which intensified on in the past few days when 13 U.S. Marines died in the bombings at Hamid Karzai International Airport. A long list of Republican politicians have called for Biden’s impeachment or resignation and when two House Republicans introduced articles of impeachment for Secretary of State Antony Blinken as well for LYING about last months Drone Bombing of an Innocent Afgan American Aid worker and his 7 children by mistake and calling it a Successful Drone bombing of two ISIS Leaders in retaliation for the murdering of the 13 Marines. What I can’t excuse is Biden’s LYING HIS ASS OFF about what happened immediately after the bombing.

I’m starting to think that the Democratic party is starting to realize that putting Xiden in this position was a huge mistake and the backlash from this is having massive world consequences that could damage the Democratic party forever.
And we will soon see images of Murders, burning, beheading and mass shootings of the Afghan people that were left behind and couldn’t get out in time.
And don’t let them pretend that they didn’t know Biden was in over his head before the election… They Knew damn well and this is why they put HIM in, so that they would be able to Control him. . We need a special Investigation to investigate the whole Screw Up. Including leaving over $4 Billion dollars worth of equipment.

  2. Are Mistakes made? Sure they are But NOT LIKE THIS ONE!
Just change the name from JOE BIDEN to DONALD TRUMP or any other Republican for that matte), and see how the heads would be rolling for days, with much screaming, and gnashing of teeth and certainly with accusations, and Impeachment threats against Donald Trump.

On September 1 Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley announced that the August 29 Drone strike in Kabul “was a VERY Successful mission.” And that several Important ISIS Leaders were Killed during that strike. This strike prevented another Horrendous ISIS attack on US forces. . The Biden administration bragged that the Drone strike was proof of our so-called “retaliation ” that the President promised following the killing of the 13 Marines in Afghanistan .

.Yesterday the New York Times reported that the evidence of the “Drone Strike” proved to be complely WRONG and that NO ISIS Members were hit , and Killed as the headline first put it. The Times story about that day showed, and proved “About that Drone strike.” Turned out that the strike ACTUALLY killed an Afghan friendly and others including seven children.

McKenzie. Said…“I am now convinced that as many as 10 civilians, including up to seven children were tragically killed in that strike.”

.The Pentagon investigation has concluded that the strike was not the SUCCESSFUL mission that Biden told us it was. . We already knew that General Milley is a Self-Righteous Liar. General McKenzie has now admitted his responsibility for what is was “a tragic mistake.”
“I offer my profound condolences to the family and friends of those who were killed,” said McKenzie.

So I guess that we can say that BiDumb lied, and people died

  3. A former colleague used to say, “Don’t get mad — get even!”

If you want to curb illegal immigration, start handing out maps directing them to the addresses of the Hollywood celebrities and congressional representatives who champion open borders.

  4. The problem with America today is that the media will blow any bad news that has to do with Joey Biden, his Vice President, and his bunch of stooges he calls his administration, from that moron Antony Blinken on down. And this is great for the Left/wingers we should I say “progressives”. Bidenis so arrogant and brazen that he doesn’t even trying to hide his disdain for this country anymore.
Every single DAY we’re bombarded with things that are SO HORRIBLE to hear in our country and the media doesn’t really divulge it. Well today is the 20th anniveisitoy of the attack on the World Trade Center, and I can remember when the country was REALLY “United” afterwards. We REALLY were a United Nation then, and not because the President asked us to, it was because we we as MAS asll and we didn’t want to take it anymore! Not from the Muslim world, and not from any of those piss poor little countries who thought that we were so weak that we would just lay down and surrender as Biden did last month in Afghanistan. No not not we are these days, when we are pitted against each other because of who we prefer to lead the country. … It really didn’t matter because all of our candidates were strong minded Americans, not the way it it today. We didn’t have a bunch of self admitted Socialist running for the presidency. We didn’t have Surrender Monkey’s that didn’t even know what state they were in Or what “State of Mind they were in” When we were attacked, we ALL stood together United against the common enemy. And we didn’t rest until we KILLED the Bastard. Like George Bush said, “Who ever did this is going to hear from ALL of us soon”.
We didn’t have a President who would offer to buy our American held Hostage from the Taliban! If anything like what happened to us last month happened 20 years ago, we would have Bombed the HELL ou of that enemy so hard that they wouldn’t know what hit them In stead we allowed them KICK us out, and to take ALL of our supplies, and equipment that we simply laid down and let them have it AL three BILLION dollars worth. And God only knows what they will do with it.

Is Biden really a Socialist? You can bet your last dollar that he is. But he must avoid that label. In today’s society, labels are important, no one want to be guilty of voting for a Socialist. American isn’t quite ready for that… Not yet anyway. By Socialist, I don’t mean a real hard line Dictator like, Castro, or Mao, but lets be honest about it, Barack Obama fell somewhere in the middle l of being a modern or contemporary Socialist.
He had to avoid that label like the plague because America wasn’t really ready for socialism at his time. Because it didn’t work here because it takes away all incentives to work hard. Why work hard when the government will make sure your taken care of with Healthcare, Food Stamps and Welfare? But now with the current President, Hell, wh are giving away Free Money like it was nothing…. we do it so much, and so often that American’s don’t want to work for it any more! And who can blame them when the Government just sends you Checks so often that there’s NO need to work. And thats why yoy see all those “Help Wanted” signs all over the place. That’s why these restaurants can’t even get the help they need to run their business.

And where I come from that’s called Socialism. I personally do not want to pay for other people’s mortgages, food stamps, lottery tickets, or welfare and healthcare. I have a job and I pay taxes.
To put it in proper perspective, Obama a Con Man, a Con Man that hate sall of our traditional American values. He’s gotta go.

  5. We live in a highly politicized world. In most other western societies, while everyone does have an opinion, most aren’t hell-bent on sharing it with others who don’t particularly wish to hear it. Whether that makes other western societies “more civilized” than we Americans, I don’t know. I do know that despite disparate views, most Americans share one thing in common: their aggressiveness is asserting their opinion(s). This is not a recent change in direction. There were people who protested Wilson’s decision to enter World War I (and were jailed for their protest movements). There were people who protested American involvement in World War II, as well, and the government labeled them traitors and Nazis. Americans protested the Korean War, Vietnamese War, and some have questioned our involvement in the Middle East.

So, it makes sense, in the aggregate, that there are people who think we deserved 9/11. I might even agree with the argument that US policy toward the Middle East has been seriously flawed, and if we were to agree on this point, then it may make sense to us that people who are without the awesome power of the United States might, in their own desperation, rely on less sophisticated means to “fight back” against this perceived injustice. Some Americans would argue that US policy is what created terrorism in the first place — which of course, isn’t true; our government’s policy only caused terrorism to be used against us because it is the “enemy’s” only weapon.

As to your point with the end result of Afghanistan, any soldier who first went there in 2001 could have predicted that the “war” wouldn’t end well for the United States. Many of us had that feeling, particularly since every foreign expedition to that hell hole has ended in a victory for the Afghans. This is part of the historical record.

I will certainly agree with anyone who argues that Biden is a nitwit, but we can’t blame Biden for decisions made by Jimmy Carter (1979) and George Bush (2001); and, one might reasonably conclude that if we Americans, despite all our power, can’t win a war against a bunch of goat-herders over a twenty-year period, something’s terribly wrong with OUR leadership. In this, I concur with your concluding paragraph with one caveat. If a nation seeks greatness, it must act intelligently and consistently in its interests and the interests of its people. Our government hasn’t done that since 1794.

  6. Watching this all from the north side of the border, it breaks my heart to see how much damage the Biden administration has done in such a short time. I thought we had it bad with our idiot Prime Minister. We have a lot of the same problems here. How strange that I can stand up and say I’m proud to be Polish, in referring to my ethnicity, but I’m supposed to be ashamed to be Canadian, a citizen of the country I was born in? It’s a bizarre sort of self flagellation that makes no sense at all.

  7. Very good, as always. I suspect that the concerns that you raise in this post are related to the problems you discussed in your last one, about free stuff. One of the many costs of government “free stuff,” is that it creates a dependent population. That dependency takes away pride and if you have no pride in yourself, you will not have pride in your country.

For those who benefit from the government gravy train, politics are about distributing largess rather than what is best for the country overall. They will support a politician who is blatantly corrupt and a senile buffoon if he can be relied on to fill the government feeding trough.

The debacle in Afghanistan is an example of cost of that sort of thinking. I suspect that deep state political operatives such as Susan Rice told General Milley to pull out all but 600 of the troops which made it impossible to hold Bagram. Rather than point out the problems with that, Milley dutifully saluted and supported the use of the Kabul airport making an orderly withdrawal impossible. By comparison, when the Soviet Union pulled out of Afghanistan, their commanding general was the last one out. That’s the difference between a retreat and a rout.

That’s the same kind of arrogant ignorance that gave us the Benghazi disaster. Deep state political operatives call the shots because the Pentagon is filled with bureaucratic generals who follow orders at the expense of mission success and the safety of the troops. The political operatives are confident that, no matter how badly they blundered, they can continue to distribute government largess and remain in power. I don’t think that General Milley is completely ignorant of military matters. He is just a uniformed bureaucrat who says and does whatever the deep state tells him. Probably, his reward will be the usual cushy, well paid job with a defense contractor after he retires

The complacent leftists can’t grasp that America is only as strong as its people make it and that the government feeding trough doesn’t fill itself automatically. Freedom, prosperity and security aren’t the natural state of things and this country will only enjoy them as long as enough Americans make sure that the country is strong economically and militarily. Throughout history many have ignored that basic truth to their grief. Almost a century ago, the writer Robert E. Howard put it more dramatically and perhaps prophetically:

“When a nation forgets her skill in war, when her religion becomes a mockery, when the whole nation becomes a nation of money-grabbers, then the wild tribes, the barbarians drive in…Who will our invaders be? From whence will they come?”

  8. Those who think about and write about the negative trends and disasters caused by inept leaders must begin studying the Constitution. They will see that our presidential selection is VASTLY different from what it is supposed to be. They the thinkers must come to grips with whether the Constitutional process could get us quality leaders. Blessings to you, Lady of reason.
